as the internet is now a major part of our lives- some are saying its more used than TV.
Which one couldnt you live without?
What do you mainly use the internet for?

isnt that the dream put about 10 years ago that we will all be watching tv on demand through a pc system in the home.
I think it didnt happen as BT had no real competition and wanted money from the gov to upgrade the lines . it took us long enough to get adsl and its still very poor compared to other countries.
we should just have a nice in pipe with evrything coming through a central pc and nice big monitors in every room.
I do prefer my pc but out of the 2 the tv could go.
I think the internet is doing so well as the tv is mindless
boobtube as many call it

Not here, you can't - there *still* isn;t any ADSL provider for where i live, so 2-3K/sec is where it's at for me. Still.
Even so, i do not own a TV.
