|

hello
Ive just gone vegetarian last week and there seems so much I didnt know about my food and hoping someone can point me in the right directions.
Im a single mum with a couple of kids & not the best budget for food.
Would you please tell me if you think veggie food is more expensive and where can I get the best choices and value for my money?
Also my kids have never really liked meat and luckily the school offer a vegetarain option. When eating out do you find getting veggie food easy?
Finally - where do you draw the line, i.e. medicines, drink, foods your not sure about?
Sorry if these questions are a bit basic but this is all very new to me and I really do need some help
thanks

hi morag
veggie food shouldnt be more expensive and if your good at cooking its cheaper - as you can make it yourself so you know whats in it and avoid all those preseravtives and crap found in store bought ready meals etc
Find a good veggie cook book and keep trying new things - you will be amazed at how thigs taste fresh.
get into alternatives with medicines and dont feel too guilty if you have to use them - ill kids is horrible - but ask your questions as my kids never need the horrible stuff as they eat so well.
